Considering the part I watched had no user input, this starts to get ridiculously easy to script.
Parts needed:
- complete NES ROM set
- emulator that can be set to run for xx seconds and record audo/video in this duration (ex. MESS)
- script that launches emulator for xx seconds for each NES ROM.
- script that concatenates all video files created and does necessary conversion for YouTube
- fast upload speeds to upload a 3 hour video to YouTube.
- computer you won't mind be occupied for three hours.
Actual amount of time needed for user to program this, provided the... I dunno, an hour or less? Probably twenty minutes, tops.
