The bug issues that were discussed then have already been fixed although there may be a little more finetuning on a minor issue or two with HLSL.
The only monitors that HLSL will have no part of is old black and white portable tv set monitors used with pong and other hardcore dedicated black/white only monitor systems (non-TV) used with such games as Ramtek Trivia or Ramtek Hit Me.
