Please, no Mikonos.
This guy has been banned from almost all Arcade forums because of his greed and bad attitude.
But, the most important point to me is that he considers preservation to be what he decides. Some artworks had fonts badly aligned to eye. I know it's awful, but it's the way it was at that time. Still, Mikonos proudly fixed that! Same with halftone dots. They are part of the printing technology of that time, and this smartass erase them all, calling it fixing. But it's not preservation, it's destruction.
Next step is MAME replacing original graphics by HD new ones and adding other stuff? Are hacks gonna be the new standard, original versions being trashed? Come on!
I don't know Mikonos personally, but I have seen his awful work and it is his destructive work I would rather have out of MAME.
