I have a brilliant idea lets make it HARDER for people to see our material with commercials in it.
I like streaming. However it seems to be another kind of lock in where you lose access to stuff you paid for if you dont keep up with the bill.
Those logins probably are there to try to stem the tide of cord cutting. Probably in some way required by the cable company. Never mind most people are cutting the cord because it costs too much. But it costs too much because every station wants 5-10 dollars per end user. When your average 1 hour show has 15-20 mins of commercials... You fell like you are getting ripped off.
These days I just buy my dvds outright. I can give them away to the library after watching them and *still* come out ahead. And it is commercial free
