I still say winning that kind of money would be a pain in the ass. Everyone you've ever known for longer than 5 minutes must turn up on your doorstep with their hand out. You're got to find someone to help you manage it who won't screw you over. And I'd always worry that there's no way your kids can grow up with that kind of money and not turn out to be raging douchebags.

I wouldn't have turned it down if I had won, but I'd be just as happy winning $1 or 2 million. Dump the condo, buy a nice house with a yard, have enough left over that I don't have to worry about things like downsizing and transmission failure. I'd be OK with that.
