Atomiswave is not more common but it is a lot less of a pain in the ass because it's simple plug and play jamma. As far as I remember the Naomi has games that use more ram than the Atomiswave has so you couldn't port the Naomis over. As for price Atomiswave hasn't been that cheap the past few times I've seen it sell.
