WOW there is a LOT of work still to do... and I thought I was at a good point!! Thanks for reporting, I will surely work this out (expecially for the poor/wrong translations...
Actually, my main concern was to make the site more accessible for non Italian users, not the complete translation of it. At least, for the database things. Some useful things can be translated anyway: the printer friendly version of the game page, the search instructions and the “mame for Dummies” guide (and yes, the rom search page). Things are proceeding slow because I need to tokenize every line in the site. On the pro side, if one day somebody will want to translate progettoemma in any other language, all they will have to do will be to ask me for the dictionary file and translate it.
Once site is accessible in a proper manner, my priority will be to make the image update script, leeching images directly from Progettosnaps, and rebuilding "server side" instead of having to download, rebuild, rename and re-upload the images. I’m at a good point with that, and as we are in the same web farm the file transfer is VERY fast compared to my poor ADSL, still I need to understand why some images don’t get rebuilt properly (my host will HATE me when I will launch that script, but who cares…. ;-) I had already tried synchronization softwares but they become very slow and prone to crash when trying to synchronize 19000+ subfolders. And this is the main reason why my images aren’t *that* up to date...
Then, we will see for the rest of the site…
