If it was just tucked into luggage and no one had been smoking it in the car, I highly doubt any human could smell it. Some cops definitely seem to abuse the whole "smell of marijuana as probable cause" thing. That was the impetus for the searches in the video, and they never found anything but cigarette butts. I don't partake of either, but I'm pretty sure I can tell the difference between cigarettes and pot with close to 100% accuracy.
