Yeah, I hadn't thought of the power supply. A few days ago my computer shut down just when I was just in Windows... I was adjusting the power strip's plug so I thought I might have pulled it out too far, but my computer turned back on soon after so I didn't think much of it...
It's a Corsair GS700 PSU and the machine is less than a year old. At least whatever is broken is probably still under warranty, if I can figure out what it is. I'm not too confident about opening up a PSU but I guess it couldn't hurt to look.
