Yeah, been there. Lots of minimum wage clowns in the auto parts stores in these parts too. Occasionally you do get talk to somebody who knows parts/product, but it's increasingly rare.
Jeremymtc walks into an auto parts store:
"I'd like to buy some Plastigauge."
"Plastic... what?"
"Plastigauge"
"Uh..."
"PLAST - IH - GAUGE"
"Uh, I don't think we have that."
"You do have it, the manager keeps it under the counter, right over there. I buy it here all the time." [points]
[employee looks confusedly under counter]"Uh..."
"Mind if I have a look? I can point it out to you."
"Uh... No, uh, I can't do that."
Jeremymtc stomps out.
