Is posting here a better or worse way to report bugs?
I picked up a Funny Strip PCB which arrived today, and noticed the music samples play considerably faster on the PCB than they do in MAME.
So I had a poke around and found splash.c is the correct driver, there are two 5205 configs defined - msm_interface1 and 2. msm_interface1 needs to be using MSM5205_S48_4B instead of MSM5205_S64_4B. This makes it sound like the PCB, and sure enough the S1/S2 inputs are high/low for the 5205 playing music samples (/48) and low/low for the other (/96). They're all tied to GND or +5 so it's not a board fault.
Also noticed Choky Choky (tumbleb.c) is slightly wrong when I got a PCB of that a few weeks ago, the YM2151 for that game should be running at 3.579545 - the slower 3.4xxxxx is from a different game. End result is things sound a little slow compared to the PCB.
