I thought the same thing when I'd seen it. The chicken-scratch writing in the panels didn't help either, and it certainly made me wish that everyone used machine-type whenever they wrote something like this as my eyes were on fire from reading the messed up text that looked like it was coming through a badly-tuned CRT (the trials of scanning and showing something at a larger resolution when the original's pretty small to begin with, I understand...).
