We have a black woman:
- Standing in front of a building that looks like "the projects" - With a gleaming gold tooth - In a do-rag - With a "gossipy" facial expression - Behind a caption that suggests she's speaking Ebonics
The image and text were carefully chosen. They represent a caricature of a negative racial stereotype. It's a little racist in my opinion. And embarassing. But that's just my opinion.
Perhaps someone should make an image of a white guy in blackface saying "Gee missuh, I ain't seen no emuchats 'round here." It wouldn't be racist either, I suppose, because if it's funny, it can't be racist. Or something.
