That's why I don't want to talk about the lag in itself, but about the question what options produce more lag compared to other options. Like if mame is the basis, how much does mame -triplebuffer lag in comparison to the base options?

That's why I measured the input lag with reproducable means. That has nothing to do with individual perceptions.

If people aren't able to discuss it on a factual level, then they're probably not as smart as you might think. That's like saying: "There are many political nuts in the world, so smart people stay far, far away from discussing politics."
