Spend $15 more and get an Intel CPU. You'll be glad you did.
This particular model appears to be one of the better i3 chips available...
Intel Core i3-3225 Ivy Bridge 3.3GHz LGA 1155 55W Dual-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 4000 BX80637I33225 $144.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116774 Also: $10 off w/ promo code EMCXVVV56, ends 2/28
This specific model is a 55W (that AMD chip is 100W) Ivy Bridge dual core with hyperthreading (ghetto quad core). It also has integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000. It's the only Core i3 with HD 4000.
Here's a cheap motherboard to pair with it ($37 cheaper than the AMD board)...
ASRock B75M-DGS LGA 1155 Intel B75 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard $52.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157335
...and some highly rated memory...
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL $55.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231314
Grand total for above three items... $253.97 You can't beat that with a stick.
Not sure what power supply you're getting but it should be fine. Personally, I only buy SeaSonic power supplies, but I've heard good things about Corsair units.
