DICE did support another Midway game earlier Midway Asteroid. It is a licensed clone of Atari's Space Race which DICE or MAME could add later as a clone of Space Race if choosing to.

Adam's comment does hold true when saying it is first emulated, original game that Atari did not produce during 1970s.
