Exactly. Making the gun laws more strict or banning ownership outright won't do anything to stop these crazies. Instead, they'll gut the guns from the black market and proceed as they were going to anyway. Just like the idea that complete bans on controlled substances will stop people from abusing drugs. The only thing it does is give money to the cartels and street dealers. It doesn't stop the user/abuser.
