I'm really loving this game.
It feels so true. Like a minor Japanese developer which saw Commando at the arcades and decided to create his own clone back in, say, 1986, following a similar path but with differences in taste.
There's plenty of neat little touches, which show a clear vision of what you wanted to achieve with your game and graphic design. The deliberate one-dimension plot is perfectly Eighties, and the over-the-top moments (such as the monk statues meditating when you got their power up) are exhilarating.
Also, this is a formidable showcase for your Arcade Game Studio. Congratulations for this achievement!
