Ah... now I see what you're talking about. Thanks for looking at it at that great a detail =D
As zorg said, at this point, it's a judgement call; this could be a printing error. For example, on the right, where the one part is blacked out, that looks like that it was just scratched out from age.
As you go farther down the center, it looks like something didn't line up during the final printing process, and that's why things are off.
If we had three to four copies of the backdrop, and they were all like that, then it'd be easy to say "leave it like that, because that's how they were all printed."
But since we only have the one, we need to decide: one-off mistake, or not?
On stuff like that, I tend to "fix" it.
