Dunno, I saw it in 2D, and it was definitely enjoyable. Not only that, the local theater where I met my friends wasn't even digital projection (like I usually do). Felt pretty retro to see 24fps flicker and film grain too. ![](//www.mameworld.info/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif)
On the other hand, if you're going to see Cloud Atlas, I should think IMAX would be epic and worth the upgrade.
