My four year old blew me away when Ralph was wrecking the car. My three year old was crying tears and yelled out in the theater "Noooo! Why?" and my four year old leans in with tears in her own eyes, and explained to him he had to do it to save her, because if she crosses the finish line, the girl would be trapped in the game forever and die... she actually explained that all to him... I was blown away. A lot changes in their little brains between three and four years old apparently.
