I'm quite interested in UME since the MAME/MESS source at SVN has been merged. What I'd like to ask is if I'm allowed to release a test UMEFX. It will be command-line because merging MAMEUI/MESSUI will be a looong work I guess so for the first times I prefer to stay with the plain .EXE. Obviously if it will be called UMEFX it will contains the following extra features: - Added feature : AUTOFIRE - Added feature : D3D FULL CLEAN STRETCH - Added feature : DIFFERENT JOYSTICK IDS - Added feature : HISCORE.DAT (only for MAME) - Added feature : SOUNDSYNC (should be tested on MESS) Maybe I could also implement some MEWUI changes but sincerely I don't know if it will work with MESS software lists... Though my main question is if it's doable without any problems or I have to officially ask to the Developers a permission... please let me know. Last and probably dumb question: to compile UME, the right command is... - make TARGET=UME Note that I'm not planning, as already said above, to release a GUI version. I think that QMC2 will be the ideal frontend to run UMEFX. Thanks in advance.
