As you can have noticed, since June there has been no big activity in the website... at least on the surface.
In fact, a few bugs in the search and display scripts have been fixed, the search script has been optimized, and the databases have been regularly updated, but nothing was so exciting to push me posting a news entry.
In the past weeks, anyway, a few new events have justified this update!
* scuore and Swos (from mameitalia) have agreed to let me use their snaps for gamegear and megadriv games, so that we have partially complete sets for these consoles too, now. Adding these to the Pico pack created by AntoPISA and the SMS one completed by gioloi last May, I would say that Sega systems have received pretty good coverage!
* after fixing (at last) a couple of problems with the contact mail address, I found a wonderful surprise from amilo3438: more than 250 pics of Keyboards of Home Computers emulated in MESS, which are now properly displayed in the system pages, together with the wonderful PCB snaps collected some time ago by AntoPISA!
* ASH created a category.ini, to indicate which kind of machine each system emulated by MESS is (home computer? console? calculator?), and projectMESS displays now this info in the system pages
This is all for now, but stay tuned for more (exciting) news which are finally close to be unveiled!
