I've already lived that dream, for the most part, having owned my own arcade. I was missing four games that would have made it perfect- Reactor, Zookeeper, Tron and Discs of Tron. Other than those omissions, I feel pretty good about having done it, and have long moved on.
Games in my arcade (not all at once; some were swapped, parted, or sold during this time):
Vids: Tempest Battlezone Space Duel Breakout Anti-Aircraft Steeplechase Pac-Man Ms. Pac-Man (both upright and cabaret at different times) Pac-Man Unleashed! (took the available hack at the time, burned the roms, and built a JAMMA cab using a DECO cab with an adaptor to run the Pac board) Asteroids Omega Race (caberet) Turbo Frogger Rally X Defender Joust Scramble Bump N Jump Rampage Spy Hunter Dark Stalkers Frenzy Street Fighter 2 Lethal Enforcers (1 and 2) Police Trainer SF Rush (2 linked cabs) Hyperdrive Area 51: Site 4 Ikari 3 Street Smart (utter rubbish, in a converted Tron cabinet) Klax Atari Tetris Attax (I think that's what it was called) Gladiator (Taito) Time Soldiers Double Dragon Virtual Racing VS Mario Golf (and some I'm sure I've forgotten)
(Also owned Monaco GP cockpit, Tank, and Circus, but never operated them outside of my house)
Pins: Centaur Twilight Zone Funhouse Star Trek (Bally; had two of these) Lost World Rapid Fire Pinbot Time Machine Party Zone X-Files Terminator 2 Pinball Magic Eight Ball Deluxe (couldn't keep it running for more than a day, no matter what I tried. Some harness issue I never fixed) (maybe more... can't remember)
These days, I'm long out of the business, and have exactly zero machines. Someday I'll grab an old classic for the parlor, but music is my passion these days. Atari and Midway have been replaced by Gibson and Marshall
"One of these days, I'm going to cut you into little pieces!"- Nick Mason, Pink Floyd
