Topic. Going to be spending 16 hours on the road with a laptop. Actual lightguns, Wiimotes, even a mouse are all out of the question. Would be fantastic if I could get MAME to enable digital crosshair control, as seen in some console games like Lethal Enforcers on the Genesis (joypad motion controls crosshair at a constant rate).
Same deal with other analog controls such as steering wheels, now that I think about it. ;p
