It means they make sounds but it sounds crappier than it should for the time being. Although a good bit of the games will still sound crappy after the emulation is perfect because the boards do (some of them).

I didn't see those in the update so I don't think they have been looked into yet. I think Tetris Fighters and others used it too iirc.
