Replaced my first fuel filter...on my 1994 Chevy S-10 (hey, it's only got 65K miles on it)...removed the gas cap, but the fuel filter was underneath on drivers side, so there was still gas in the lines. Even with safety glasses I got a face full, and even a little in my eyes...had to run inside and stick my head under the tap. Saved $90 doing it myself, but in retrospect wasn't worth it...coulda ended nasty (er)
