I can't help but think of the MIDI+analog joystick port on SB cards. In particular, the one on my PCI SB-AWE32 in my ancient P233MMX box. I may have to see what happens when I transfer that 1997 PCI SBAWE32 into my current main desktop that has the integrated RealTek sound on the motherboard.
But then there's the depreciation of that true analog joystick support via that port in Windoze. :-(
