If anyone has the old Windows95 release of the first Sega Rally Championship on the PC, you may not be aware there was a super rare Direct3D version released only on the driver CDs for some 3Dfx Voodoo 1 graphics cards, years ago. I was lucky enough to get a copy of the driver disc from a friend of mine back then, and recently a user called "vetz" managed to wrangle the Direct3D version together with the original non-Direct3D version and made an unofficial patch! Go here to download the patch, there's also my revised higher-res backgrounds/loading screens/audio available too. Go here: http://vogons.zetafleet.com/viewtopic.php?t=32316 Why might you want to try it? The Direct3D version has force feedback (your mileage may vary as it's programmed for older devices) and if you hold up/down/left/right when loading a track it will swap between normal/fog/sunset/night modes! However the textures on the Direct3D version are a bit more mushy in some places.
