You have to chain CGWG's shader after one of the MAME stock ones for compatibility with all games. Olivier's interested in trying to port it now as OpenGL practice for work / possible future other emulation things. I'm not going to try and stop him, in part because I have no idea how far out Moogly's going to be on his universal renderer (I suspect with E3 coming up he's going to be slammed at work for a while) and it'd be cool to have SDL more in sync with baseline in that area.
