Pshaw. I had both in mind, thought about them, and decided on yen, because I figured the Scottish vernacular would probably be lost on those here. (Of course, it's conceivable my exposure to the Sten novels has given me an obscure sense of the word 'ken'.)
Consider it high comedy....sincere tragedy....whatever...don't take it personally.
