Nobody had these growing up in the US.
I love reading about the many types of computers out there. That includes those on the other side of the pond. So some of that info stuck in my head. Interestingly enough, a neutered version of the Sinclair was marketed over here for a very short time by Timex. It didn't go over well.
My fave site concerning the Speccy is http://www.worldofspectrum.org
I also love comparing the differences between dialects of BASIC. The INK and PAPER statements were a dead giveaway. :-)
So remember: Not all of us over here in Eagleland are ignorant of technology abroad. ;-)
