How can I get older versions of (sdl)mame ?

I've a an arcade cab with an Athlon XP 1700+ (waiting for the 3000+ to arrive) and a GeForce 5500FX in it.
As you can see its rather old so I have problems running the newer versions of mame smootly. Until now I've used .103b in windows for years but I would like to switch to Ubuntu (actually Lubuntu). I've tried xmame .106 which was fairly good but have had problems with opengl which I need for good scaling.
So my main question is how/where can I get older versions of (sdl)mame ?

Any help appreciated.
