They obviously had enough backing to make a couple hundred of them.
Back in the late 80s, I was imagining something very like this that was part of the intake on my flight pack. No turbines! Probably still have the power issue, though.
Consider it high comedy....sincere tragedy....whatever...don't take it personally.
