When I was a kid, I saw some weirdo movie at the drive-in. All I remember was some dork kid getting beat up, and he loses it I guess, and then creates this weird persona, and costume to boot that was a mix of some sort of helmet or something, a cape, skates, and bizarre eye make-up.

Consider it high comedy....sincere tragedy....whatever...don't take it personally.
