The mice just don't respect a Klingon cat like they should... I have not had the best of luck with mice, or I just wear them out too fast. The last two mice I had developed scroll wheel issues- no more rubberized wheels for me. The last one, MS I believe, had the rubber on the wheel stretch and then finally break off. The mouse I just got a few months ago (obsolete now apparently) is an HP Laser mouse. The scroll wheel now is hard to move- I have come to the conclusion that the rubber is rubbing up against the casing holding it in place inside. Couldn't they give a mm of space on each side?
Time for another mouse again I guess. I really liked the Logitech I had awhile back. It had one of those heavier wheels that you can give a spin. Too bad the buttons gave out- double-presses and one went completely soft. Maybe I'll try one again to see if they have improved. A new mouse for me will have a decent scroll wheel, back/forward buttons in addition to the standard ones, and of course will be wireless- USB or bluetooth I don't care.
