That option was added to clrmame for MESS and doesn't need to be used with MAME, even though both binaries have a hash directory with softlists.

What's that supposed to mean? No one is really gonna give a crap about all that. That's like some noob saying MAME is to difficult to get going and setup, so I'm just gonna delete out everything. It don't have an easy or pretty GUI like the other emu's
