Technically, Keith Courage in Alpha Zones is the title for the US release of the game on the TurboGrafx-16 console. The original PC-Engine title was called Mashin Eiyūden Wataru (based on an Anime).
Yeah, I know, but you say it's a console game - what it is doing on the MAME list as an arcade game and mucking up my style? It is the same reason as there are NES, SNES, Genesis, SMS games in MAME .. why not rename all those too? It's not going to happen. The games, while virtually identical in most cases, are made to run on hardware which is different - in that you cannot take a Genesis/Mega Drive and plug it into a Megaplay or Mega-Tech cabinet and expect it to fit or even work.
While it is true the 'heart' this is hardware might be a PC-Engine converted to Jamma in uapce.c (United Amusements - UA), that doesn't make it a PC-Engine game. The carts are not 1/1 matches to original Hu-Cards, so you cannot use them in consoles or console cards in the arcade hardware based boards.
Now, I could understand maybe adding a signification that the game is used in that certain jamma board, but saying "(PC-Engine)" would be wrong.
