No idea. Most front-ends will read the -listxml output themselves for games lists or at the very least, use -listfull to show a full list of games in MAME. I have to assume you can produce a "DAT" for yourself by capturing the -listxml output to a file via command-line:
mame -listxml > mame145.dat
