In his defense... I don't think he means to ask for roms...

I think his problem is he doesn't know why the roms he has don't work. My best guess is his roms are out of date, but HE probably doesn't know that.
He's just a helpless newbie looking for assistance (I mean that in a kind way).
BUT to answer your Q, av02... that is probably your problem... if you HAVE the roms but they don't work with the updated MAME, your roms are likely out of date, and no one here can help you with that. You COULD go back to an older version of MAME from when those roms were still good.
