I think its ironic that many women "claim" to want choices and then demonize the choices they don't like.

I don't think its "wrong" for a woman to work, or stay at home, this is a call each woman should make on her own, just like the choice to marry or whether or not to have children.

But society seems to "knock" "female" things and it tries to "make" women into men. I'm not implying women are incapable of being employees or politicians, but that women should do what they want to do, not what some trashy women's magazine, or peer group dictates.

Free choice, "real" choice is about evaluating your abilities, desires, and the price you are willing to pay to get what you want, plus making sure what you think you want is indeed what you want.

If a women wants a lifemate, she should look into what it will take to get the kind of lifemate she wants, ditto for whether she wants a lifestyle, vocation, or any other life altering decision.

Too many people (women and men) focus too much on what others want of them and not enough of what they want. You can be happy being a stay at home parent, working with no kids, or juggling both. Don't do something because you are told to do it, do it because you choose to do it.

In the long run you answer to yourself and God, don't live your life like your answering to anyone else.
