While you're gone you may want to look up the 'Fair use act' in the copyright law. If I own it, it most cetainly IS mine to copy, for my own use and NOT FOR PROFIT. The goal here is and will always be the PRESERVATION of these old games and that's what making a single copy does, just like you are entitled to make a single copy of a music CD you purchase in case the original gets damaged.
All it takes is a 5 second google to figure it out. You don't even actually have to read the copyright law.
