X Arcade controller has Mame mapping already configured. There is a switch on the back to program different mapping configurations.

For shields on Asteroids Deluxe find a misc button on the X Arcade you do not use.

I wired a switch to the player two button and installed a floor pedal. Great for PSX driving games.
