I get the 10 below thing, I've done the polar bear. Ice cold water immobilizes you instantly. I even get the rough seas thing. I'd excuse both these. Lake has been warm for the season, and calm last few days. It's been pretty nice all summer as well...
...Still, people find a way to die in it...
