I guess. We had another person fall into Lake Michigan and drown. They didn't know how to swim. Yesterday it was a lady driving into a pond. She made it out of the car, but didn't know how to swim. I hear this story 400 times a year. Person near water, falls in, can't swim, dies.
Just led me to wonder what percentage of any given population couldn't be bothered to learn to swim in 20-50 years of life. I'd even expect a few to figure it out on the fly given that their life is on the line....
