MAMEWorld Forums - The Loony Bin - Yet another indie bundle

This one looks kind of cool, though. Four games for under three bucks is pretty good, regardless.

ARES - A two-stick, side scrolling, platformer/shooter. Nothing earth shattering, but it looks good and it's entertaining enough.

Nimbus - A physics/action/puzzler with a pretty cool mechanic: your character flies but doesn't generate any momentum, so you have to bounce off parts of the scenery and shoot yourself out of canons to keep going. Fun, and the art style reminds me of Sonic the Hedgehog for some reason.

Gemini Rue - Old-school point-and-click in the SCUMM vein. Sci-fi noir, reminds me a little of Beneath a Steel Sky. Very retro, but the voice acting is decent and the story is actually pretty good so far. This one alone is worth the $3 or whatever it's up to now.

Haven't tried Sanctum yet, it's Steam-only and they were having issues up until a little while ago.
