> Like i've said before, i don't see any interest in adding such a lot of Fruit > Machines Games (over 5000), working or not (and it is not related wih the fact to > have or not a complete MAME Romset)...MAME is the acronym for Multiple Arcade Machine > Emulator so i could understand that people like me are very surprised by this choice > and the addition of these games that have no direct relation with arcade (same for > Pinball games).

an indoor area containing coin-operated game machines --------------------
When I grew up, "arcade games" (and pinball games) were everywhere: arcades, liquor stores, laundromats, restaurants, grocery stores, convenience stores, gas stations, etc. That's in California.
In Nevada, you can find fruit machines in all the same types of places. In Britain, same thing. In Japan, mahjong games can be found in all those same types of places.
The people that played those types of games when they were younger have the same feelings and attachment to those games as I do to "regular" arcade games.
MAME has always been an International project in the broadest sense. Just because a game doesn't classify as "arcade" in the traditional sense to one group of people, doesn't mean that it isn't an arcade game to someone else.
So all the games belong. And they're all arcade games. Done.
RELAX and just have fun. Remember, it's all about the games.
