Something that bothers me a bit is optical mouse LEDs are quite damn bright. I hardly get annoyed by blinking LEDs, but playing with an optical mouse at night and near your face is somewhat annoying. Also, optical mice don't work well on any surface unlike its mechanical counterparts.
There are two peripherals I'll miss so much on computers. One is any mechanical mice, the second one is my Microsoft Natural Keyboard (compatible with Windows 95).
I'll buy an USB one someday because nowadays none has an AT connector. :P
