it was a side scrolling game where i think you were a cherub(not chubby cherub this was an arcade game but similar)flying around collecting fruit and food and hitting enemies.it was a 1 to 2 player game.might have been around mid 80s but not sure.when you killed the enemies they turned into angels.similar to My Hero.the only other thing I vaguly remeber is when you die and an old funny anime looking sensei appears at the end while there is the continue countdown.anybody know of this game.

He wakes up everyday in the same clothes, runs around in sewers, and collects coins for a living.
At the end of the day, he uses the coins to buy mushrooms
