Was gonna wait until tomorrow, but I couldn't wait... so near midnight I put the last piece of the puzzle on her just tonight... the battery. Was a little nervous hooking up the negative first... Especially since I'm no professional mechanic... I'm a Google Certified Mechanic, and with all the warnings about arcing and exploding battery acid into my eyes... the ground being positive on this one and all... no battery explosions... whew.
Nothing is more awesome than when you do some greese-monkeying around... and she fired up FIRST KICK! I think a pulled a facial muscle with my giant grin. She's my first bike I've ever owned and worked on, and she fired up first kick.
Not ready for the open road yet, a few more details, not the least of which is getting it inspected for title and license. Soon... hopefully soon...
